What an amazing 6 months it has been for Your Haven Realty. 2019 started out slow but post federal election the market turned around almost overnight. Our office has had 19 sales to date (at time of writing this) with 14 of those being post election. Some of those sales are noted below. 

Interest rates are still sitting at an all time low with three (3) interest rate drops during 2019. This has helped to install some great buyer confidence in the market place and it's easier for first home buyers to get a foot in the market with the lower rates. There's also a lot of families purchasing however we've found less investors buying.

Below I've noted some great rates I've seen available (at the time of writing this).

Ubank - 2.84%

ME Bank - 2.88% (2 year fixed) or 2.99% (5 year fixed)

NAB - 2.88% (2 year fixed for first home buyers)

 

One sale we had in Rocklea @ 99 Sherwood Road, Rocklea set the record for the highest priced property sold @ $607,000. We had that under contract within 3 weeks of advertising with multiple offers received (video feature of 99 Sherwood noted below). 

I believe 2020 will continue along the same pattern. It's a great time to buy/sell while the market is hot and rates still at an all time low.
