One month has been and gone...

Wow! How time flies. It's hard to believe that just last month we officially opened our doors for the first time.

We had our first networking / opening night earlier in the month and it was a great turn out with around 30 people coming by to see the office. We plan to have another in early December so stay tuned.

I'm also thrilled with the amount of local residents coming through the doors to say hello and seeing people stop to look at the properties in our shop window has been great. Our goal is to have the window cards rotated every fortnight to keep it fresh.

The rental market on the whole has slowed with longer than normal leasing timeframes, it should improve around mid October through to November but again slow down in December. January through to March is always the busiest time of year and you'll find most leases end/start around that time or mid year. But in saying that, some properties are an exception. We rented one in Tarragindi earlier in the month for $510 within two (2) weeks of advertising which was a great result.

I've had a little father-son bonding time over letter box drops in the last week. The little guy had a great time posting these through the letter boxes, although he didn't really understand the no junk mail.

We've had a good response to our flyers distributed throughout Fairfield with the attached tea bag proving to be a hit. Yeronga is the next suburb on the list so keep an eye on your letter boxes.

In other local news - Fairfield Gardens is undergoing a renovation with Aldi and an alfresco dining precinct under development. This will be an exciting change for the suburb and we're interested to see the impact in has on local house prices. Here's a link with more information about the upgrade
