Summer market update & office news
Summer is officially here and boy hasn't it been hot.... it's days like that you just want to be under the air conditioning all day or in the swimming pool. It's also hard to believe that we're just 23 days away from Christmas!
The last few months we've continued to see the property market continue to show some great results, with the third rate cut and the extension of the highly popular home builder scheme which has been extended until March 31st 2021.
Sales market update:
Our sales have continued much the way it did last quarter with 6 new sales for the office (some recent noted below). We'll no doubt see more listings coming to market for the start of 2021 and hopefully more investor activity with the rate cuts last month. The Australian Bureau of statistics noted the economy grew 3.3 per cent in the September quarter which is great to see.

During late October and November we saw a number of storm warnings, with a big thunderstorm hitting South-East Queensland on 31st October. It left 95,000 homes without power and a huge number with tennis ball sized hail damaging roofs/cars etc. As an office we contacted all our tenants in areas of concern and a small handful had some minor damage. We know that your property is your greatest asset and one we take very seriously during any event like the one mentioned above. Our emergency after hours phone number is (07) 32552668.
The office is excited to see what 2021 unfolds and albeit 2020 has been a year that most of us would like to forget about it's been a year of growing and pulling together that's helped us. We hired some new staff and things are going great. Hopefully we'll continue to expand and new faces will join the company in 2021.
Christmas time / days we're closed:
It's starting to feel a lot like Christmas around the office - we're just 23 days away. The team spent the morning decorating the office (photo below) and we're looking forward to Christmas day..... who knows SANTA might even make an appearance 🎅🏻. It's been a big year and we'd like to thank everyone for their support during 2020. Our Elves have some special cargo being distributed in the YOURHAVEN sleighs for all tenants and owners before the big day, keep an eye on the skies and make sure you put out some milk and cookies 😀.
