Renting or selling with pets at home? Here's your how to handle inspection check-list!

As much as we love them, pets can distract buyers from seeing your home at it's best, and a busy open home isn't much fun for them either.

A few simple options to make it work:

• Ask a friend or neighbour - a quick favour can make a big difference
• Take them for a walk during the open home inspection - weather permitting, the dog park is a great way to pass time
• The perfect opportunity to take them to the groomer or DIY dog wash bay
• Board them for a day - a familiar kennel or pet hotel works a treat

A little planning goes a long way when it comes to presenting your home in the best possible light.
